I graduated from Michigan Technological University in Spring 2000 and from graduate school with a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota in Spring 2002. My first job was in Troy, MI working on commercial and residential civil and structural engineering projects. For the last ten years I’ve worked at Krech Ojard & Associates’ Eau Claire office working on a diverse collection of large inter-disciplinary projects and smaller structural-only projects. Projects have been regional, national, and international. Projects range from an emphasis on heavy industrial and
manufacturing, to marine civil/structural rehabilitation, foundation designs, paper and pulp, material handling, health care, churches, telecommunications, etc. Other professional organization involvement includes the Chippewa Valley chapter of the Association of Facility Engineers (AFE) and volunteering at the Mathcounts competition with the Wisconsin Society of Professional Engineers (WSPE). I also volunteer on the Golf Committee that helps organize the annual golf fundraiser for Chippewa Valley Young Life.
Originally from Poplar, WI near Lake Superior, my wife, Lisa, and I have three kids, a dog, and a variety of other small living creatures while residing in Eau Claire. We stay active with our church and select sport activities with the kids. Most evenings and weekends, I can be found doing activities or getting my hands dirty at or near home.
